But the ongoing geo-magnetic storm hitting earth from coronal mass ejections (CME) from the Sun, might destroy all that. The CME's cause voltage surges in electric grids and in transformers. NASA ALERT: Magnetic Storm Has Reached Level "G-5
Earth is presently being impacted by the first two, of SIX coronal mass ejections from the sun and the energy is causing a massive Geo-Magnetic storm around our planet. The storm has now reached level "G5" - the most severe on the Space Weather Scale! Power Grid COLLAPSE can take place at this level!
There is already sever disruption of satellite communications, GPS, and low frequency Navigation Beacons.
With the storm having now reached G5, we could see sporadic or even widespread power grid failures.
