The Art of Spiritual Awakening

The path of spiritual awakening might be a lonely one, maybe even painful at times, but a powerful one nonetheless...

We might not know what hit us and why, but we will definitely know when it reached us because things will change overnight for some of us, for others the changes might be a little more subtle at first but the "journey" will take its course either way.

I have been on such a journey for almost three years and I am writing this for all of you who might be experiencing similar "weird" phenomena, but are unsure what to make of them, how to deal with them, to try to explain them to others or maybe not as your surroundings will definitely take notice and judgment of the "new you" will happen...

It's human nature and it always has been...

When you come to the point where you don't even recognize yourself anymore

When you begin to realize that there is a path for you even though it is still unclear what it may be

When you start to notice that some friendships just don't work anymore because the energies suddenly collide, you certainly have made progress

When you get visions of some of your past lives, maybe even people from these lives coming in as someone else and you might even recognize them but they don't recognize you and maybe never will, in this lifetime at least, then you are well on your way to experience the art of spiritual awakening.

When you begin to hear about "soul contracts" and understand what the four "Clairs" are,

clairvoyance - clear seeing

clairaudience - clear hearing

clairsentience - clear feeling/sensing

claircognizance - clear knowing,

...then you are right in the middle of it.

A word about "soul contracts":

we may have signed many soul contracts with different people during various lifetimes and we did it for a reason - to learn a lesson!

Some Shamanic approaches consist of the assumption that it is possible and desirable to change these contracts.

Maybe it is. For myself, I have to say that I am not going to change any contract as it has a specific purpose that is still valid in this lifetime.

It's almost like "tempting" karma.

Whatever opinions people might have in terms of soul contracts, there is no right or wrong but merely freedom of choice which is exactly what we all want and need.

And it's about respect for each other - a must have we can never give up or compromise on.

As this is very personal and totally unique experience for every single one of us it might be difficult to find people who can relate to you and what you are going through or might be able to explain to you what are some of these "weird" things are, but never give up because you are not alone...!

Why can we suddenly see auras, feel energy, have a high level of vibration that might even cause an "overload" in your system because your body is not used to it...?

Maybe some of you might have experienced physical reactions like,

extreme sensitivity to some crystals, sound bowls, drums, meditation, uncontrollable shaking, feeling sick etc.

For the longest time you have no clue what causes these symptoms until one day you finally find someone who knows because they have experienced the same thing and have "mastered" this challenge to a certain degree.

Maybe some of you have discovered remote viewing of places they have never been to. This gift of course is given to us for healing and helping others.

Whatever practices we follow,

to do shadow work, space clearing, land healing, energy clearing, balancing and so many more,

...is determined by who we are.

Again, there is no right or wrong approach, just choices.

We might try different things in order to narrow down the path and also to connect with Spirit and to find balance. I practice Shamanic traditions which help me to connect to the elements, to ground and to find balance - within myself and around me.

It's the Shamanic way and whatever we discover during the "journey" is really what we have done all along, at least in some of other lifetimes.

The "new" is really the "old"...

Grounding is very important and at least for me not that easy to achieve. A work in progress but at some point it will become a routine and you won't have to remind yourself to ground or feel the consequences if you don't.

Maybe some of us have experienced physical changes where people that you have known for a very long time don't even recognize you anymore.

Some of us might have seen bizarre lights, have heard distorted voices, developed psychic abilities, become mediums - whatever it may be - know that others might be experiencing similar things.

And the search and experiences will be ongoing while people around you keep noticing the changes.

The old saying,

"people fear what they don't understand" is true to this day...

We have to be able to integrate ourselves in this society but at the same time stay true to who we really are. If we can do this without being judged, criticized or ridiculed we have already won.

Each of us can contribute in their own unique way.

For me I have discovered that I like to be creative, participate in and offer meetups/circles to reach out but also to create community for like-minded people.

Wherever we are on our path, we are not alone.

And even though some of us might be solitary practitioners of whatever we choose to do, we will still be supported by the community. This is especially true for introverts.

The path will reveal itself - eventually...!

Coup attempt against Donald Trump fails, October revolution continues

An attempted coup against U.S. President Donald Trump has failed and several senior U.S. politicians, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, are likely to be arrested or executed as a result, MI6 and Pentagon sources say. That is why Pelosi, Schiff, plus Foreign Affairs Chairman Eliot Engel, Homeland Security Chairman Bennie Thompson, and Rep. Mac Thornberry, the ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee, and others made a sudden trip to Jordan and then Afghanistan, the sources say.

The coup attempt was prompted by “the execution of powerful anti-Trump Congressman Elijah Cummings,” who was “found guilty of enabling child sex trafficking,” Pentagon sources say. Pelosi was also prompted to flee the country by the death of her brother, former Baltimore Mayor Thomas D’Alesandro III, the sources say.

The trail of intrigue is now implicating Pope Francis, MI6 sources say. “The Pope’s bodyguard, Vatican Head of Police Domenico Giani, just resigned over the financial corruption scandal and associated leaks,” they say. “Really, the Pope should just go. Francis has been warned that he will be the last pope if he continues to cover up these and other monstrous crimes against humanity committed by the Vatican.

The other thing Francis will be doing is preparing for the announcement of a fake Messiah which is being cultivated by the P2 Freemasons. This is an individual with stigmata who is being trained for this role, P2 Freemason sources say. The Vatican is also sending its top assassin to East Asia around this time in an effort to cover up its criminal activities in the region, the sources say.

It is interesting to note in this context that North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un rode a white horse on the sacred Mt. Paektu last week. A sudden move (with U.S. military approval) to unify the Korean Peninsula may well be what Kim is planning. It is also worth noting that Emperor Hirohito was always pictured as a descendant of the Sun God when riding a white horse during WWII, so this picture of Kim also seems to indicate he is setting himself up as the true Emperor. Of course, Japanese Emperor Naruhito, who is hosting hundreds of international VIPs for his enthronement ceremony on October 22nd, is of a different opinion.

In any case, Asian intrigue aside, the dragnet is closing on the satanists worldwide, as a “Pentagon pedo task force of Navy Seals and Marines liberated thousands of children from Californian underground bases to deprive the deep state of adrenochrome,” the Pentagon sources say. Children are tortured and murdered before their blood and adrenal glands are removed in order to extract the stimulant adrenochrome, according to multiple whistleblowers.

A European royal says this Bloomberg interview with Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President James Bullard discussing regime change at the Fed “is actually a sign that control of interest rate decisions has moved from a manual rate setting by ‘the Committee’ reactive to the global economy to recursive complexity theory using A.I.” In other words, AI detects repeating patterns in order to make decisions. This essentially what modern weather forecasters do when predicting things like hurricanes.

However, a global currency reset to stabilize the entire system will have to wait until the old system destabilizes further, the source says. He predicted the reset would take place in the year 2020.

Farrow spent over a year pursuing the story, talking to multiple women whom Weinstein had assaulted and painted a picture of an abusive Hollywood mogul who was protected from consequences by an army of loyalists. He started working on the story as a reporter for NBC but it soon became clear that the network was not fully behind the effort to reveal one of the darkest open secrets in Hollywood. Every phase of the reporting process was an uphill battle as the network tried to get him to “pause” his reporting.

Harvey Weinstein knew what he was doing and he hired an elite private investigation firm to try and thwart Farrow’s work. The Israeli company Black Cube followed Farrow for months and sent various undercover agents to try and meet with him to solicit information about his project. Not only were they assigned to surveil Farrow, but they were also infiltrating the lives of the women who were speaking with Farrow about Weinstein. One agent successfully gained the confidence of Rose McGowan, got a copy of her memoir before it was published and delivered the manuscript directly to Harvey Weinstein. For this work, Black Cube received payments from the Weinstein Company that are reported to have been over a million dollars.

The Difference Between Politicians and Psychopaths

Twenty years ago, a newspaper headline asked the question: “What’s the difference between a politician and a psychopath?”

The answer, then and now, remains the same: None.

There is no difference between psychopaths and politicians.

Nor is there much of a difference between the havoc wreaked on innocent lives by uncaring, unfeeling, selfish, irresponsible, parasitic criminals and elected officials who lie to their constituents, trade political favors for campaign contributions, turn a blind eye to the wishes of the electorate, cheat taxpayers out of hard-earned dollars, favor the corporate elite, entrench the military industrial complex, and spare little thought for the impact their thoughtless actions and hastily passed legislation might have on defenseless citizens.

Psychopaths and politicians both have a tendency to be selfish, callous, remorseless users of others, irresponsible, pathological liars, glib, con artists, lacking in remorse and shallow.

Charismatic politicians, like criminal psychopaths, exhibit a failure to accept responsibility for their actions, have a high sense of self-worth, are chronically unstable, have socially deviant lifestyles, need constant stimulation, have parasitic lifestyles and possess unrealistic goals.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re talking about Democrats or Republicans.

Political psychopaths are all largely cut from the same pathological cloth, brimming with seemingly easy charm and boasting calculating minds. Such leaders eventually create pathocracies: totalitarian societies bent on power, control, and destruction of both freedom in general and those who exercise their freedoms.

Once psychopaths gain power, the result is usually some form of totalitarian government or a pathocracy. “At that point, the government operates against the interests of its own people except for favoring certain groups,” author James G. This is typical of psychopathic systems, and very similar things happened in the Soviet Union as it overextended and collapsed.”

In other words, electing a psychopath to public office is tantamount to national hara-kiri, the ritualized act of self-annihilation, self-destruction and suicide. It signals the demise of democratic government and lays the groundwork for a totalitarian regime that is legalistic, militaristic, inflexible, intolerant and inhuman.

Incredibly, despite clear evidence of the damage that has already been inflicted on our nation and its citizens by a psychopathic government, voters continue to elect psychopaths to positions of power and influence.

According to investigative journalist Zack Beauchamp, “In 2012, a group of psychologists evaluated every President from Washington to Bush II using ‘psychopathy trait estimates derived from personality data completed by historical experts on each president.’ They found that presidents tended to have the psychopath’s characteristic fearlessness and low anxiety levels — traits that appear to help Presidents, but also might cause them to make reckless decisions that hurt other people’s lives.”

The willingness to prioritize power above all else, including the welfare of their fellow human beings, ruthlessness, callousness and an utter lack of conscience are among the defining traits of the sociopath.

When our own government no longer sees us as human beings with dignity and worth but as things to be manipulated, maneuvered, mined for data, manhandled by police, conned into believing it has our best interests at heart, mistreated, jailed if we dare step out of line, and then punished unjustly without remorse—all the while refusing to own up to its failings—we are no longer operating under a constitutional republic.

Instead, what we are experiencing is a pathocracy: tyranny at the hands of a psychopathic government, which “operates against the interests of its own people except for favoring certain groups.”

Worse, psychopathology is not confined to those in high positions of government. It can spread like a virus among the populace. As an academic study into pathocracy concluded, “[T]yranny does not flourish because perpetuators are helpless and ignorant of their actions. It flourishes because they actively identify with those who promote vicious acts as virtuous.”

People don’t simply line up and salute. It is through one’s own personal identification with a given leader, party or social order that they become agents of good or evil.

Much depends on how leaders “cultivate a sense of identification with their followers,” says Professor Alex Haslam. “I mean one pretty obvious thing is that leaders talk about ‘we’ rather than ‘I,’ and actually what leadership is about is cultivating this sense of shared identity about ‘we-ness’ and then getting people to want to act in terms of that ‘we-ness,’ to promote our collective interests. . . . [We] is the single word that has increased in the inaugural addresses over the last century . . . and the other one is ‘America.’”

The goal of the modern corporate state is obvious: to promote, cultivate, and embed a sense of shared identification among its citizens. To this end, “we the people” have become “we the police state.”

We are fast becoming slaves in thrall to a faceless, nameless, bureaucratic totalitarian government machine that relentlessly erodes our freedoms through countless laws, statutes, and prohibitions.

Any resistance to such regimes depends on the strength of opinions in the minds of those who choose to fight back. What this means is that we the citizenry must be very careful that we are not manipulated into marching in lockstep with an oppressive regime.

Writing for ThinkProgress, Beauchamp suggests that “one of the best cures to bad leaders may very well be political democracy.”

But what does this really mean in practical terms?

It means holding politicians accountable for their actions and the actions of their staff using every available means at our disposal: through investigative journalism (what used to be referred to as the Fourth Estate) that enlightens and informs, through whistleblower complaints that expose corruption, through lawsuits that challenge misconduct, and through protests and mass political action that remind the powers-that-be that “we the people” are the ones that call the shots.

Remember, education precedes action. Citizens need to the do the hard work of educating themselves about what the government is doing and how to hold it accountable. Don’t allow yourselves to exist exclusively in an echo chamber that is restricted to views with which you agree. Expose yourself to multiple media sources, independent and mainstream, and think for yourself.

For that matter, no matter what your political leanings might be, don’t allow your partisan bias to trump the principles that serve as the basis for our constitutional republic. As Beauchamp notes, “A system that actually holds people accountable to the broader conscience of society may be one of the best ways to keep conscienceless people in check.”

That said, if we allow the ballot box to become our only means of pushing back against the police state, the battle is already lost.

Resistance will require a citizenry willing to be active at the local level.

Yet as I point out in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, if you wait to act until the SWAT team is crashing through your door, until your name is placed on a terror watch list, until you are reported for such outlawed activities as collecting rainwater or letting your children play outside unsupervised, then it will be too late.

This much I know: we are not faceless numbers. We are not cogs in the machine. We are not slaves.

We are human beings, and for the moment, we have the opportunity to remain free—that is, if we tirelessly advocate for our rights and resist at every turn attempts by the government to place us in chains.

The Founders understood that our freedoms do not flow from the government. They were not given to us only to be taken away by the will of the State. They are inherently ours. In the same way, the government’s appointed purpose is not to threaten or undermine our freedoms, but to safeguard them.

Until we can get back to this way of thinking, until we can remind our fellow Americans what it really means to be free, and until we can stand firm in the face of threats to our freedoms, we will continue to be treated like slaves in thrall to a bureaucratic police state run by political psychopaths.

Historic changes unfold worldwide as Zionist project collapses

Truly historic events are unfolding worldwide as the centuries-old Zionist project implodes. This can be seen with the UN running out of money, a massive Turkish invasion of Syria, and an escalating civil war in the United States, among other things. Also, multiple signs indicate that some sort of high-level deal has been reached between Russia, China, and the U.S. for a new system of global stewardship.

Let’s start with the situation in the U.S. Here the military government headed by President Donald Trump has secured funding from China to avoid bankruptcy, Pentagon sources say. In effect, China will pay cash for an abundance of food from the U.S. to buy it time until a global currency reset takes place, they say.

The U.S. military sent us this photograph with the caption, “To welcome the new fiscal year, Trump summoned military brass for a White House meeting and dinner on October 7 with [top General Mark] Milley and other Army generals wearing World War 2 uniforms and declaring war on Zionists and the Deep State.”



Furthermore, the Pentagon sources say, “The hunt for Red October is on as the Hunter (Biden and other traitors) becomes the hunted, and General Joseph Dunford oversees military tribunals.”

Russian sources tell us that former President Barack Hussein Obama has already been executed by a firing squad. The Pentagon sources did not confirm this, but did say, “Civil war is raging with Gitmo [Guantanamo Bay] executions, declassification, mobilized troops and feds, and potential takeover of California.”

The Zionists, of course, are not going quietly into the night. A senior MI6 source says he was told “by a very reliable source” of an “outlandish claim of a ‘glorious revolution’ by the ‘Fallen Angels (satanic bloodlines)’ between December 21st and 24th to instigate full thermonuclear warfare to exterminate the very vast majority of life on this planet.”

This is, of course, a reiteration of the Israeli “Samson option” to destroy the world if its existence is threatened. Israel definitely is facing an existential crisis with a massive Turkish army headed its way. Christian Zionists and Zionist media are having fits about the U.S. “abandoning the Kurds” as Turkey moves into Syria. Although corporate media refer to this as a limited incursion to secure its border, the Turks are saying otherwise. “We can’t wait. As Turkey, we will never stop this fight, no matter what anyone says,” President Recip Erdoğan declared on Friday.

“Turkey launched the biggest geopolitical intervention in its political history with the ‘Peace Spring Operation.’ …That entire corridor spanning the Iranian border and the Mediterranean is going to be purged. If you look at a map of the Middle East, the “corridor” they are going to “purge” includes Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, and Israel.

It also looks very much like the Turks have tacit Russian and U.S. support for this move. On Thursday the U.S. and Russia vetoed an EU resolution calling on Turkey to “cease unilateral military action.” This is the first time since the UN first met in 1946 that the U.S. and Russia have vetoed the same Security Council resolution.

The Europeans could do nothing but wring their hands. “The Turkish operation into northeast Syria can open a new dramatic chapter in the already very dark history of the Syrian war. The potential consequences of such military action are clear to everyone—at least are very clear to us. The repercussions can be extremely serious in humanitarian, military, political, and strategic terms,” High Representative/Vice-President Federica Mogherini told the European Parliament.

Translation: The results of World War I are being undone to the detriment of the French and the British.

“The Kurds and Turkey have been fighting for many years. Turkey considers the PKK the worst terrorists of all. Others may want to come in and fight for one side or the other. Let them! We are monitoring the situation closely. Endless Wars! Very smart not to be involved in the intense fighting along the Turkish border, for a change,” Trump tweeted in response.

Turkey has 1.09 million active troops and reserves, versus 150,000 Syrian troops and 30,000 Kurdish forces, so taking Syria at least looks like it might be a cakewalk for the Turks.

The big question, of course, is what happens to the former Turkish territory of Saudi Arabia, the heart of the petrodollar system. “Saudi Arabia is turning east” with a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin, “and may even get S400 missiles to defend itself from Israel,” Pentagon sources say.

The Saudi economy is also imploding, with its plan to list its oil company Aramco in big trouble. “Aramco has been downgraded by Fitch to A, and may reach BB or below in investment grade as the sovereign wealth funds, state-owned companies, pensions, and billionaires reject becoming cornerstone investors in its IPO,” the Pentagon sources say. Given these circumstances, the country, privately owned by the satanic Saud family, may well return to Turkish control.

In Israel, meanwhile, it looks like the rats are starting to abandon the Zionist ship, starting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Mossad sources tell us, “Bibi so far has not been invited to any coalition. He is staying off the radar and preparing an exit strategy. He knows his time is up. He will attempt to disappear. He has several alternatives. His movements are being closely monitored.”

Netanyahu is now trying to negotiate a plea bargain wherein he will testify about things like Fukushima and his Zionist bosses in exchange for U.S. military protection, Pentagon sources say.

The Zionists, meanwhile, in addition to making empty nuclear threats (as their Samson option has been neutralized) have been using weather warfare against Japan and the United States.

Japan was hit on October 12th with what was advertised as a Category 5 typhoon in a saturation Japanese media scare-mongering campaign. If you look at this screen shot from the Japanese weather satellite, you can see an unnatural grid pattern on the left side of the typhoon that is a clear sign of weather warfare.



In the end, though, the “typhoon” turned out to be nothing more than a heavy rainstorm. Much of the flooding damage reported in the press appears to have been the result of deliberate sabotage as several dams opened their floodgates. (Stuxnet?) There were also media reports of a magnitude 5.7 earthquake in Tokyo, but neither I nor anybody else I know in Tokyo felt it. “Japan should not bow down to the Deep State, but be on the right side of history,” Pentagon sources say. They can help by sending in the military police to arrest the gangster-linked traitor Shinzo Abe.

In the U.S., the Midwestern corn belt was hit by “unprecedented” snowstorms. While normally 75% of the harvest would have been taken in by now, “unprecedented” spring flooding had delayed planting, meaning that only 22% of the harvest had been taken in before the snow hit.

California, meanwhile, was hit with arson, deliberate shutdowns of the power grid, and other chaos. That’s why the U.S. military is planning to take temporary control of that rogue state. Invading California also would let them nationalize the subversive Cabal tech companies like Google, PayPal, and Facebook.

Of course, the biggest Cabal kahuna that needs to be nationalized is the privately owned Federal Reserve Board. That seems to be happening, since now even the Dutch central bank is saying, “If the system collapses, the gold stock can serve as a basis to build it up again. Gold bolsters confidence in the stability of the central bank’s balance sheet and creates a sense of security.”

This is what a CIA source sent in about the financial system reset just as this report was about to go live:

“We are in the end game NOW. I was told by someone who is in the know, at the top of the pyramid and who is one of Us, that the global banking reset is weeks away, not months away. It is most likely tied in with Brexit and the crisis in Hong Kong. If correct, there will be a MAJOR event taking place in Hong Kong on the same day. Take note that November 1 is a Friday. As with any prediction of the future, we can only wait and see if this is true. However, since the U.S. is the most indebted nation in world history, nationalizing the Fed and resetting the system would require an agreement with creditors, especially China.

On this front, Trump upped the pressure on China by kicking them out of Long Beach Port, in addition to invoking tariffs and a whole slew of other threats. In this context, it is a good guess that pork plagues and army worms devastating Chinese food production are not acts of nature.

The U.S. appears to also be offering carrots. In specific, the U.S. military has started releasing previously hidden high tech to the public. For example, it has released “UFO-like technology” that would completely revolutionize air and space travel. It is also releasing patents for compact fusion reactors that would completely transform the world economy. If this fusion technology works, it would literally make it possible for everybody on earth to live like a millionaire.

There are also signs the UN may finally move out of New York. Secretary General António Guterres said on Monday (October 7) that it may run out of money by the end of October. This is happening mainly because the U.S. and 64 other countries have stopped paying their UN dues. It means China could get its wish to have it moved to Laos or somewhere else in Asia if they would be willing pay the bills.

Imran Khan and the Rothschilds

The relationship between the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan and the Rothschilds were exposed in a controversial memoir written by none other than his now former wife, Reham Khan.

Jemima (Goldsmith) was only 21 when she married a 43-year-old Imran. For Jemima, marrying a much older man from another culture couldn’t have been much fun. Imran always said that he had connected better with his in-laws than his very young wife. Friends would tell me how the cultural restrictions weren’t the ideal start for the very young London socialite. Her time with Imran is described by most as a very suffocating experience for her. I could very much relate to a very young girl separated from all of her friends and surrounded by much older people in an oppressive atmosphere. Her Two brothers also got married in their early twenties. However, the Rothschilds and Goldsmiths shared a strong historical and religious bond. Both were Jewish banking families, with a history of political posts and influence in the Conservative party. In fact, Sir James Goldsmith was a protégé of Edmonde de Rothschild, long before his two sons married into this even richer Jewish family.

Ben had only been 22-years-old when he tied the knot with Kate Rothschild. And after that nine-year marriage fell apart, Zac then married her much younger sister, Alice, who he had been having an affair with. Kate was rumoured to have been having an affair with the American rapper Jay Electronica and their divorce was labelled the very first ‘Twitter divorce’ after an ugly lashing out on Twitter between them. Despite Ben being arrested after slapping his wife during an argument over the alleged affair, the historical bond between these two Jewish banking families was still visibly extant when, within a year, Zac had divorced his wife and married his mistress Alice Rothschild. Between the two Jewish banking dynasties, this connection is understandable.

The bond between Imran and both the Goldsmiths and the Rothschilds was harder to understand for me. Imran said that he was the emotional coach for not only his own ex-wife’s man problems, but also for Kate Rothschild’s. According to Imran, Kate was devastated when the rapper she fell in love with converted to Islam and refused to continue an affair with her. The rapper was affiliated to the Nation of Islam, which is described as an anti-Semitic organization by its critics.

Since the Rothschilds were not only known for their banking supremacy but also for being active Zionists, I piped in that perhaps it was the surname that caused conflict in Kate’s relationship, and pointed out that one of their ancestors, Walter Rothschild, was responsible for drafting the declaration for a Jewish homeland in Palestine in 1917, which came to be known as the Balfour declaration.

I found it strange that Imran made a point of extreme public rhetoric against the Americans and Zionism, while sharing close ties with those who had a clear interest in furthering Israel’s cause. Imran was also very close to his brothers-in-law, particularly Zac. Imran maintained that in a violent argument once where Imran slapped Jemima, it was Zac who urged Imran not to divorce his sister. Imran had impressed upon me that it was not his ex-wife but her family he was good friends with. He was especially indebted to ‘Jimmy’ as he had not only left more than enough money for his eight offspring to live off in luxury, but had also designed Imran’s future.

As time progressed, my gut instinct told me that Imran had to do their bidding, not because of any good-ex-husband responsibilities, but for his own political wellbeing. Less than a year later, my worst fears would be confirmed: A seasoned politician swore to me that a meeting had taken place, confirming Imran’s U.S support. To cross-check the story, I cornered the former Director General of the ISI, General Ehsan ul Haq, in Sadruddin Hashwani’s home, who confirmed Imran’s connections to the Americans. According to him, at a meeting in 1996 between the late Foreign Minister Sahabzada Yaqub Khan and Henry Kissinger, a third party was also present. That third party was Sir James Goldsmith.

The Pakistani foreign minister was then categorically told by Kissinger to “Look after our boy”. When Sahabzada asked who their boy was, the answer he received was “Imran Khan”.

I had started reading up about James Goldsmith during my marriage, and stumbled on an article by David Goldman in 1984. He wrote, ‘Sir Goldsmith created an elaborate network of puppets in Britain and the US to create an elaborate cash laundering network in the United States between 1981 and 1983’.

The investigation also raised questions concerning the finances of the political network broadly linked with Kissinger Associates Inc. According to it, General Vernon Walters of the State Department (the chief protégé of Henry Kissinger) was, for a long time, employed by Goldsmith.

Everything made complete sense when I realised that James Goldsmith had always been politically active, and had even founded his own party in the 90s called the Referendum party. It was a single issue Eurosceptic party which laid the foundations for Brexit. Before him, his father, Frank Goldsmith, a hotelier of German Jewish descent, had been a conservative MP. Besides his portfolio of 48 hotels, he was known for being one of the founders of the King David Hotel in East Jerusalem, over 46% of which was funded by notable Jews. Following the decisive six-day war, East Jerusalem was successfully annexed and the hotel was extended.

Through the early months of marriage, I had struggled to understand Jemima’s hold on Imran Khan. He clearly hated her phone calls, and cursed her after each one, but could not say no to her. Initially, I thought he was just a doormat because of his kids, but it began to dawn on me around September that it was a much stronger hold than that. It was too much information that I should have looked into long before I got married. All I had listened to was Imran’s speeches and his constant rhetoric against the Americans. Not only do we venture into personal relationships with our eyes wide shut but when we go to the voting booths, even the journalists in us have no real idea what we are voting for. The information is all out there but we choose to follow the propaganda we are fed.
