A 12th-century castle that once belonged to a Rothschild is being auctioned for 425 million euros, or around 454 million US dollars.
The 17-bedroom castle, known as Château d'Armainvilliers, dates back to the 12th century and is located about 30 miles outside of Paris.
It was once owned by Edmond de Rothschild.
It is one of the most expensive real estate offers in the world.
The
Rothchilds’ family was raided between 2018 - 2020 (Defender Europe) and
assets seized, which got the leftover members fighting over scraps.
